My desktop #debian drive got messed up and wouldn't boot gui. I hadn't updated my backup drive in quite a while. Be Luckily I found out that it was just a simple 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' fix. Gotta update that backup tonight...!

Hate it when that happens. Can't tell you how many times I've accidently broken lxde or grub.
