@drnik indeed. We mostly work with Remote Desktop. Only Cinja, who attempts luminescence experiments, seeks the lab for absolute darkness.

@Donut great! And how is the #acousticnoise damping project going? We measure ~300 Hz < 5 fA Hz^-1/2 in the current FFT most of the time, doesn’t seem to affect IETS for now. What’s your noise profile & intended use?
@PalmaLab we are thinking about micro perforated plates to avoid particle generation but our little test rig did not show much dampening. Gotta find a calculator to better design the frequency vs dampening relationship
