💜 hi, I’m Kk (they/them). I’m 28 #queer , #mixed , #neurodivergent , and I love #nature . I work in the realm of connecting folks of all backgrounds to outdoor recreation, and redefining what it means to be outdoorsy.

Picture description: Kk stands in the middle of a field wearing a black shirt and black shorts. They have a black bucket hat on, and a full backpacking pack on their back, which is teal in color. They are holding up peace signs with their fingers.

Decided to join in on today's #SillyCuratorPrompts

I wasn't sure how one celebrates the solstice, but I figure it involves light somehow. So here's a little hedgehog (no reference!) enjoying the light of a candle. 🕯️🦔

Draw a hedgehog celebrating solstice!

For extra silliness, if you don't have aphantasia, don't use reference images :D

No drawing skill necessary, do your worst. The point is to have fun and do something creative ^.^ Participate from any instance!

Please include alt-text in your images, it's important for accessibility - https://mastodon.art/@Curator/109279035107793247 - or if you're low on spoons, ask people to describe for you in the replies ^.^

Recent illustrations I painted for Framasoft, all under free/libre culture license.

I really love working with them. It's mainly what I do when I'm not working on Pepper&Carrot.

Their yearly funding campaign (at 78% while I'm writing this) ends in less than 10 days, please help them if you can 💜 https://soutenir.framasoft.org (the page is translated)

Comrades, if you’re able, please help our unhoused neighbors in #Minneapolis. We are in a deep cold patch (air temp & windchills below 0F) w/blizzard forecast for next 2-3 days. Our soul-less smug piece of shit mayor has destroyed encampments, displacing many during this time the NWS has called life-threatening conditions. Here’s a link where you can help. 🙏🏻

Wishing a happy #Solstice to you all.

To those in the North, where the dark of the year is at its deepest, and its time celebrate the returning of the light (in a couple of hours time, as the sun won't rise til after 9am today). #WinterSolstice

And a happy #Midsummer to those in the South. Enjoy the longest light-filled day as our world tilts around its axis.

This is Pierre. He teaches semiotics at the Sorbonne. I'm afraid your choice of tee shirt for his seminar may have triggered an existential crisis.

🖼️ Art | Ophelia - Constantin Emile Meunier

There are reasons why there exist more visual representations of Ophelia on the riverbank than Juliet in the tomb. Much of the pull towards Ophelia no doubt lies in the visuals presented in Queen Gertrude's speech announcing her death: her death takes place off-screen, giving artists greater license to use their imaginations (as seen in Constantin Meunier's rendition below).
