I love biology and teaching people about what is happening in cells. I also am really interested in microscopy.
I also like cats, horses and horseback riding, fish keeping (I have two aquariums), video games-particularly the Half-Life franchise and Half Life mods, and I have recently gotten into VR (NOT META!) so if you want to chat about any of these topics that would be great!

PETCO CEO: What's it about?
ME: It's sort of a chews your own adventure.
PETCO CEO: Get out of my office.

Today on Trans Day of Remembrance we mourn the lives of trans people lost to violence. The victims in the US in 2022, those identified by the Human Rights Campaign, were disproportionately Black, disproportionately women. Most were killed with firearms.
We also mourn the lives of victims murdered last night at a queer nightclub in Colorado Springs.
Honor these lives. Fight transphobia and racism and homophobia. Control our gun violence epidemic. Protect and celebrate the lives of queer folks!

Hello! Very much looking forward to starting a new chapter here. Browsing through an old box in the garage just now, I found these, and for some reason I thought it would make an appropriate first post. My 1990's computing history.

Since the holidays are coming up, I’d like to remind everyone who is thinking of getting a #pet to please consider #adoption from a local shelter. Most of them are likely already at capacity and they usually receive an influx in strays and take-ins once the “cuteness” wears off and people realize just how much of a responsibility it is to take care of them.
@chamberlainnl
I love the ones with death. I also love the bursar too. The librarian is great. I think that's why I love the last continent.
@chamberlainnl
I haven't seen the Film, but it is probably my favorite book by him as well. Another is The Last Continent.
Tis the season, so it's time to re-read "The Hogfather" by Terry Pratchett.
Playing Shadows Over Loathing right now. It's just as good as West of Loathing. I love the humor in these games.

Feeling a little down today, but Ari is always here to warm my heart. Here’s a pic of her with her favorite rainbow toy:

I think I have the world's most patient cat. Granted, he got ticked off and left both times. But I still think he wins the prize. #catsofmastodon

They are really tiny and run on a track inside. That's how engines work, you know;)

I've noticed some of you like horses. I have material for you too! I think one of these horses was enjoying themselves more than the other.
