An update on building community & my social support network:

It’s going so slowly…at a crawling pace, really. Years of severe anxiety will do that to you. I’m trying to be self-compassionate when I get frustrated or sad about not being able to join in with online groups and things very easily yet. Have a 1-to-1 meeting w new Buddhist group mentoring rep next week, though, which should be easier.

Talking more to family though. That’s a big step forward on its own. I’m definitely not giving up.
