So, this is a slight Friendica issue then. @FailForward and possibly @kinetix might be interested too.
When trying to share a link in Friendica, and I type one line of text, make two linebreaks and then paste the link, I get a preview of the link contents, which show the image and an excerpt of the article I am trying to share. It looks good! I'd like to share that!
However, when flipping over to the preview tab I can see that the image is completely gone, creating a void I've experienced when sharing links from New York Times previously.
It basically creates a huge square of nothingness. The headline is placed beneath the sea of nothingness and the excerpt text from the article is nowhere to be seen. Hmm...
