@kensanata I guess it also depends on your emotional relationship to the pen :-). I use mines as work tools, not as a status symbol, nor as an art object. As such, I work them to the ground and then replace. No rinsing, I buy cartridges by 100s, the only love my pens get is a flannel cloth (or a soft paper tissue) cleaning every now and then when there is some dried up ink.

I only rinse pens in warm water right after I buy them and the purpose is simple: removing whatever oils from touching by fingers etc.

But then again, my ink pens are everyday HEMA brand work tools for €5 a piece.
