@Gaythia What's happened to Iowa? I lived in the quad cities for 20 years and I don't remember Iowa being so mean
@griff I don't know much about the eastern side, but the west has certainly undergone a big population decline, leading to school consolidation. Teachers were an important part of intellectual vitality.
