Is there anyway to force #git to just revert back to a previous commit? I don't care if I lose anything. A file got corrupted and now git won't revert because of unmerged changes but I can't fix them bc the file is corrupt.
I feel like git is failing at the one reason I use it. If I can't go back to a previous version, then what good is it?
@Gbudd Thank you for the idea. I tried all the reset variants I could think of, including this to no avail. It keeps saying there are unmerged changes and it can’t merge the corrupted file #sigh
