Timba (our Malinois) & Teddi (my brown+white mutt) have been struggling a little bit over dominance—well, Timba popped today & attacked Teddi, & in trying to pull her Timba off her, I got my hand torn up. The worst part of it is my middle finger; a tooth went thru my nail & out the other side & broke the bone (the joint of my finger bends in all 4 directions right now) & there’s a ton of bleeding. My husband’s on his way home from the office. Once he gets here, I’ll drive 1.5 hrs to the ER. +
Teddi’s OK—she’s very upset but not bleeding or broken anywhere. Timba is so ashamed & sorry. My hand is wrapped in gauze & towels, & it hurts like a mf. I wish my husband would get home. /end
