@arstechnica I've put down a deposit on a beautiful EV6 GT-Line for delivery "as soon as we get the allocation" which could be 1-3 months.
@smartwatermelon That will give you enough time to hire an electrician and get a Level 2 charger installed in your garage. :-)
@GeorgeMari the local utility covers the charger, installation, and 50% of wiring upgrade.

@smartwatermelon Oh, that’s awesome! I know quite a few states have incentives, too. Not sure if there is anything in the Inflation Reduction Act for home chargers.
