I found this collection of the late Jerry Pournelle's mid-70s science speculation columns at a used book store. He was a well-known SF writer and scientist, but also a bit of a right -wing crank, so I'm curious how these predictions of the future of the past turned out.

@unwiredben He also had a column in BYTE magazine, where he chronicled his experiences with the latest in PC technology of the day, such as using magneto-optical drives for backups.

@GeorgeMari The User Column, IIRC. I have a book collection of some of those in my collection too. It's where I learned about the utility of CP/M from my sheltered Atari 8-bit world.
