Someone – I tried searching for the post but unfortunately failed – rightly said we should focus not only on the risks of these tools in #programming #education (cheating etc) and more on the potential positive use cases.
Here's interesting work by Sami Sarsa, Paul Denny, Arto Hellas, and Juho Leinonen at Aalto University. (Best paper award at the 2022 ACM Conference on International Computing Education Research):
