WTF is wrong with people in Georgia? Why is the choice between a mushroom and a thoughtful, erudite senator close?

I would love to see a reference on the rules for labelling cheese - it seems the further your product is from actual cheese, the more adjectives you are required to include.

I once saw a material for sale in a grocery store, which the package asserted was "imitation cold-pack cheese-food-like product."

I have no idea what it was.

It’s the filibuster or paid sick leave for railway workers.
The filibuster or the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
The filibuster or a federal living wage.
The filibuster or abortion rights.
The filibuster or democracy.

This should not be a hard choice.

I know ~zero about soccer. I do know American football. And there is one small thing that I detest about both of them:

When a player scores, rather than expressing joy with their teammates (as in ice hockey,) they immediately act as if they've never met anyone else on the team (and in soccer, even run *away* from their teammates, so that the crowd may appreciate the glory of their accomplishment unimpeded!)

If I were a coach, I would quickly extinguish this behavior.

Apropos of nothing, here's a reminder of a saying in Germany:
"If there's a Nazi at the dinner table and ten other people are sitting there talking to him, eleven Nazis are having dinner together."

I’ve been saying this for years.

Boost and fav if you agree!

How can one efficiently normalize a multi-fermion wave function composed of a determinant of single particle orbitals which are not orthogonal to each other?

Wow - this could be a huge public health win. Turns out light at ~200nm is safe for humans but inactivates viruses.

Hey @GOPLeader@twitter.com - where is your condemnation of Donald Trump for meeting with neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes, the pro-Putin leader of the America First Political Action Conference? I know you want to be Speaker, but are you willing to be completely amoral? twitter.com/liz_cheney/status/
