Like its partner the American Empire, it was never a Democracy.
@JoeQuinlan @gratefuldread I think a significant portion of the USA wants to be a democracy, maybe as much as 2/3rds? While Isreal can't get even 50% in favor of democracy, and maybe as low as 25%.
