I feel it's time for a small statement.
I have been quiet the last few weeks, both in productivity and on social media.
This is nothing new for those who have been following this project for a while. A recap for the new folks: maintaining a FOSS project full-time as a one-person operation is tough, and I'm still learning the trade. Keyoxide (Kx) may not be a big project, but its scope is. I have been working full-time on Kx since its first commit a little over two years ago.

With love and dedication, I program the library, design the website, fix bugs, write documentation, manage related subprojects, apply for funding, do some outreach. Being solely in charge of everything has its toll. I get to be very productive for a project I deeply care about and then, almost like clockwork, I need to take a break from it all, recharge my mental battery.
You have simply caught me in the midst of one of these minor burnouts.

Please know I'm not complaining. I have been blessed with funding from the ever-so-awesome NLnet/NGI folks — alleviating a whole lot of the stress of not generating an income — as well as received great advice and support from many people, all of whom I wish to wholeheartedly thank here.
Kx is still very much alive, all your comments and feature requests and bug reports are carefully noted and will be handled. If one slips through the gaps, please do pester me until the work is done :)

The last two weeks have been amazing. While I was silent, I have read the fediverse posts and commments from new people discovering Kx and have seen their reactions. It was heart warming to see a growing interest in the project, my little baby project, my joy and pain for the last two years. Thank you so much.
