Do all the people on Twitter using the platform to complain about Elon ad nauseum not understand that if they left the platform and stopped engaging, it would turn into Parler, lose its advertisers and die? It's just a private app that monetizes off of engagement. So don't engage.

@alexwinter lots of people cannot afford to have twitter die. First of all, it's the only place left that sex workers are allowed to exist. Second of all, it's a really valuable platform for activists to organize and also marginalized communities (lgbt, autistic people, sex workers) to exist and have a voice.
