The latest work disaster: the mgr had an emergency with her FiL while her husband is out of town. For reasons no one will explain to me, a coworker who could work in the am & definitely wants to, isn't being scheduled.
Asst mgr, 30 minutes ago: "You're on track to have 45 hours at the end of the pay period. I'm going to clock you out so you don't go into overtime.That okay?"
He seems to have thought I would agree, as a favor to the mgr so she won't have an additional payroll headache.
