Looks like my second Godot game it's taking the shape of a 1 bit roguelike-platformer. It's coming along pretty nicely and beautiful. Today I added this dithering vignette shader to focus only on the room you currently are. What do you think?

@jose LOVE the look of it! I wouldn't call it roguelike though? Just 1 bit platformer? Will it require backtracking? (although I'm also not a huge fan of the metroidvania label being thrown around a ton? So vague?) hahaha. But yeah. Looking awesome. Gato Roboto vibes maybe? Plus that cool old almost Speccy big-character style. Like Dizzy or something.

@jake4480 the map is procedurally generated already, and a little backtracking will be necessary to finish a run. Think in Spelunky and Rogue Legacy, with some influence from Gato Roboto, specially aesthetics. I'm still not sure of allowing some progression or unlocks, or make it full permadeath. The latter is simpler for me, but the former can open more possibilities. The other thing I'm pondering is the "combat", if it's even a thing. Let's see what shape it finally takes.
