Tried #Obsidian at some point, but it not been #OpenSource gave me pause. Also checked #Zettlr (https://www.zettlr.com/) which follows the Zettelkasten approach. And, finally decided to use #JoplinApp (https://joplinapp.org/): Is #OpenSource, has a desktop GUI and a CLI TUI, and also mobile versions. It can do not cross-referencing, tagging, etc.

You have #Logseq (https://logseq.com/) that is close to Obsidian, and also a wiki like #tiddlywiki (https://tiddlywiki.com/).
On my side, at the end, I stayed with a basic but efficient #dokuwiki (https://www.dokuwiki.org/)
All can do tagging (including the excellent #joplinapp ), link notes ans render the diversity of your notes through cloud, graph,...
