Happy International Inuit Day.

I saw a post today that the Arctic is best experienced from the comfort of your own home. Seriously this is one of the most magical places on earth and it’s by far best experienced full on, laying on the tundra, or standing at the floe edge, or having tea in a tent with a friend. #Nunavut #Arctic #Inuit #Photography

Hoping that we can crowdfund enough this week to order @Hvresse Michelle's laptop. It would be really great to get both laptops before the Holidays. If you can help two Mvskoke creative women that need laptops, please do.

Michelle doesn't have a laptop, just a phone.

We are ultra appreciative of your help.

#Wildlife deserve their wild lives.

"The animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with extension of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth." ~H. Beston, The Outermost House, 1928

As the great Groucho Marx said, “Those are my principles, and if you don't like them, I have others.”

'The EU is poised to water down a landmark piece of car pollution legislation after extensive lobbying from the automotive industry, which experts say will cause an estimated €100bn in health and environmental costs.'

This thing is very disturbing.

1) Even if a "concession" is made, details are subject to change later.

2) I don't think anything stops them mandating it in practice, if they twist the language, or opt not to enforce parts of it.

3) It already looks very open to abuse.

4) It looks a lot like "age verification" is being snuck in through the backdoor.

5) Surveillance concerns.

There are also the other problems, such as it obviously being terrible for security with the QWACs.

It’s not the technology. It’s who we use it.

Until proof of god exists nobody has any god given rights.
