Coffee, chores, coffee, stitching.
I really need to get some stuff done today, body still isn't happy with me, but needs must.

#AdventSAL Day 1 of the Snowflakes and Stars from Climbing Goat Designs.

I'll be going rogue with the colours and stitching from stash. Will see what each day brings and what I feel like using.

Its meant to be stitched on dark fabric, where I have used a blue sparkle fabric (it's a brighter colour then the camera shows).

Let's see if I can keep up with this and maybe find some cheer along the way.

I will try to make the updates a thread, maybe.

There is a lot here
that is frustrating (and I won't quit mentioning it), but as an experiment in online sociality, especially in an era of waning fail-whale platforms, it is fascinating to watch and participate in.

It’s all fine as well to thank a veteran for their “service to the country”. But when was the last time you thanked an accountant in your local government for stewarding your tax dollars? When was the last time you thanked a teacher for creating a future American? When is the last time you thanked the guy that’s paving the road you drive on every day? Those folks spend their entire lives serving their country and, quite frankly, they are ignored. They all serve. Their contributions are many.

I'm a Disabled person that wishes more people would use the #Alt4Me hashtag. If you can't write/dictate/put a media description, I'd love it if someone else did it. That hashtag is not just for Blind or low vision people. It's there if you can't provide an media description yourself! There are groups that do the same thing. Anyone should be able to use the tag to request a description without getting harassed for it. If you do provide audio transcripts for an uploaded audio or an image description, tag with #Alt4U so others can find it! Also, today I learned about @closedcaptionsbot
