I see a lot of posts in mastodon asking people to use the platform una given way: add this to your profile, add metadata on your posts, boost and like posts, include hashtags, etc. Why should people use the platform in a given way? RT was invented by people in Twitter. Maybe we should be less normative.
@estebanmoro Most of those tips I'm seeing are things like "add alt text to images" which make the site more inclusive for users with special needs.
@LouisIngenthron this is great and should be done always. I’m talking about e.g. using content warning to tag/catalog posts
