Hey #FediAdmin: I caution you against adopting the #UFoI, it's more or less a trojan-horse to force servers to re-federate/relist Qoto.

Some folks spread some out-of-context screenshots of our instance admin, implying that some nasty stuff wouldn't be blocked, but when viewed in-context, it was clearly more nuanced, and he clarified it further in the following days.
Our instance admin then emailed those admins that blocked our instance, explaining what happened. Apparently getting one polite email constitutes "harassment" to some of them, and the drama and nonsense has basically just spiraled from there.
@LouisIngenthron Looks even less than that was done to warrant it. I did some digging, and it looks like some Nazis were being Nazis. Qoto banned them, and then they got some other people to get revenge on Qoto. Instead of communicating with anyone or offering assistance, joinmastodon delisted them.
It also looks like they added some features that I think should be in mainline mastodon.
