I usually avoid predictions like this, for fear I'll somehow jinx things. But this is a win-win. Either I get to be right, or I will be wrong but someone with a spine will be running Twitter.

I think it is to make a cover story. Tesla share holders had been calling for him to be removed if he doesn't leave Twitter. The third largest share holder accuses him of having abandoned the company.
I think the vote distracts from these statements and makes a nice cover story if/when he leaves.
@ThinkingSapien @cathygellis @daphnehk Exactly. Musk is so busy alternating between shitposting and damage control from shitposting that he doesn't have any time left to properly oversee a company, much less three (if he even had the skills to do so in the first place, which is questionable).
