USA, Freedom of Speech

@photovotary@ieji.de The constitution is a great framework for this discussion, though. I've had some success by talking with folks on the right about how 1A balances with 14A. Few are extreme enough to declare that folks should have the freedom to systemically exclude others on the basis of their race, and that acts as a good segway into reasonable restrictions on speech and why diverse forums are needed.

But really, the key is to frame their argument correctly: They feel they're being "silenced" by private venues, but the obverse is to point out that they don't have any right to compel others to host their speech.
