For those of you on the birdsite still, I am confused by something I just noticed. I went hunting for an old tweet of mine and couldn't find it, or anything from the time period, so I just put something heavy on the PgDn key on my profile so I could manually look for it, and lo and behold there are no tweets there from before 9/6/22. It's like they've all been deleted.
Um, what? @mmasnick

@NatlSecCnslrs @mmasnick It's caching. It always did that for really old tweets (even the API only allows you to go so far back) but it's gotten much worse since Musk fired all the guys running the cache servers.
