@evilmicrowizard @PandaChronicle My post wasn't taking issue with the main point ("not speaking ill of the dead" is outdated and useless), but rather with the justification the OP used for it.
Panda came in to try to argue that main point (that I never refuted!), thus preaching to the choir. He tried to argue with me about a point that we don't even disagree on.
@evilmicrowizard The one I explicitly called out: "the evil guy we all hate did this thing, so that justifies us doing it to him."
@LouisIngenthron But if you read the article, that pretty much didn't happen. It quotes multiple times when Robertson "spoke ill of the dead."
@LouisIngenthron @PandaChronicle I'm still not seeing it. What justification were you thinking was applied...?
