Friday afternoon reminder to not empty your inbox at the expense of someone else's. My distributed team is often like a relay race, they're winding down while I'm just getting into work. If they're off-shift I'm usually scheduling my emails (and even sometimes my Slack DMs) so no one has to feel like they need to reply when they could be decorating their house! Have a good weekend.

@jessamyn It's crazy that anyone ever feels a need to reply off-hours. When I was a CTO, I made it a policy not to have my email on my phone, and I recommended that to all my employees. If something was urgent, I'd text or call. Anything in an email could wait till morning.
