I really don't like this trend that modern #developer support is moving away from #forums and into #chat servers like #Discord.
Supporting each other on forums is *so much more valuable* because it leaves a record for future developers to see (and search). Chat servers are ephemeral. The same question will be asked over and over because it leaves no record. It wastes everyone's (the askers and the answerers) time.

@TechpriestBaunach Still nowhere near as useful as a forum or stackexchange. If you search a discussion, it's just as likely that there is no answer than it is that there is an answer and you just can't find it. Plus, you'll have to search through the same questions over and over that are harder to police as duplicates.
@LouisIngenthron true, not a full replacement for either of those things, but definitely better than just a Discord server on it's own!
