@taedryn @Terra@chaosfem.tw Ah, see, I always referred to that particular phenomenon as being a "condescending prick".

I thought "mansplaining" was specifically about a man lecturing a woman on a subject because he assumes, due to his gender, that he's more knowledgeable about it.

Then again, I've been accused of "mansplaining" for asking questions, so maybe the term has just been diluted to the point of meaninglessness 🤷‍♂️
