Discussion of causes of mass shootings
Another story of correlation and causation.
During this same period, we also saw the rise of the 24 hour news cycle that started putting every mass shooter's name and picture on national TV as a reward for killing people.
Personally, I think that was a little more responsible than the ban that only applied to manufacturers, not owners.
