I’ve found it fascinating that the Chinese government is unique in seeing video games as such a massive productivity drain and cause of social problems that they heavily regulate it.

The same way other countries complain about social media ruining society, China acts that way about video games.

Since 2021, minors under 18 are only be allowed to play for an hour on Fridays, weekends and holidays. Now it wants to ban encouraging people to play a game daily via rewards
