@golgaloth I think this might be why I have such a creepy feeling about AI… I’m never great at ideas, but I love the craft of doing things well. I value good work, quality outputs and taking time but *need* to work with other people with more developed visions to make it happen. I’m no artist with a story I must tell, I’m a craftsperson that takes pride in telling any story - and AI cheapens work, focuses on the idea and “good enough”.
@loops @golgaloth I like both. I enjoy a 2-year-aged fine parmesan from Italy, but I also enjoy a grilled cheese with kraft singles.
There will always be a demand for hand-crafted artisanal products. That shouldn't stop us from making low-labor mass-produced versions available to those who can't afford the artisanal versions.
