I may be revealing my lack of gender knowledge but why are there so many AI girlfriend apps but not a ton of AI boyfriend ones?
Do women not want to have a virtual guy who's as sweet to them as they want or is it that the actual use case is mostly sexual?

@carnage4life I think it's less about the audience and more about the authors. Software engineers, at least in America, are still overwhelmingly cis/het white men. They're building what they want to see, not what they think the audience wants.
