Apple Vision Pro fails to sell out on launch day which isn’t good news for the AR/VR space.
If people believe that not even Apple can create demand for AR/VR headsets then it’s unclear how this technology will ever break into the mainstream.

@carnage4life Fwiw, VR *is* there. Reasonably-priced and works well.
But the tech just isn't there for AR yet. I'm curious to see how well the AVP works, but I'm betting the people who drop almost $4K are going to be disappointed.
Apple's just a bit *too* far ahead of the curve this time.
