@carnage4life Yeah, that sounds correct.
So much of game development is prioritization. If you can use a machine to take care of the small, low-priority tasks, that frees up the humans to deal with the more important stuff. But, then you need fewer, more-experienced humans instead of an army of pixel-painters.
So, much like any automation, it's killing the shitty jobs, but hopefully in the long run, it'll be shifting those into new good jobs.
