A friend just had their insurance go up 20% despite never having a claim.
Their agent said it’s industry-wide given
- more home insurance payouts due to climate change (fires, floods)
- more easily stolen cars (Kia, Hyundai)
- costly cars to repair (Tesla)
Is this widespread?

@carnage4life I haven't heard anything.
But if Teslas are so expensive, then their owners should be paying more, not everyone else.
Your friend should shop around.
