Why limit it to Senators? Bring back dueling for everyone. My only complaint about dueling is that "pistols at dawn" is very early in the morning and I demand satisfaction closer to the afternoon.

@evacide how does this work with stand your ground laws? You state your intent to kill someone, the Republican making the challenge has very likely made it know that they are armed, couldn't the person who was challenged just kill that person on sight and claim self defense?
@LibrationPointThree Most SYG laws require imminent physical danger, so verbal threats don't qualify.
Think of it in old west cowboy terms. It's not legal self defense unless you wait for them to reach for their weapon before you draw.
