Building a new PC. I’m a Mac gal primarily, but need something powerful for games. Would love second opinions on this.
@briannawu I feel like you're overpaying on the motherboard, SSD, and case. You could probably find a reasonable equivalent for those for half of what you have listed there.
Other than that, it seems fine though.
@LouisIngenthron the case I don’t mind overpaying for with the fans. The motherboard you’re probably right on, but I feel like this is something people skimp on and the build quality looks stellar. Nvme, definitely overpaying for.
@briannawu Yeah, my case is covered in tempered glass and colorful fans, so I can't argue with you on that one 😆
For motherboard, literally the only thing I look for is "does it have the connections I need". I've never really had any issues other than that (and the rare manufacturing defect). That said, the brand you've picked is a good one, so it should serve you well.
