I really loathe how many artists just want enough to live off of and are seen as 'entitled'.
Meanwhile people throw billions of dollars at scammers that suck everything you have after the media prances them around as 'innovators'.

No artist I know is promising you the moon, but I'd rather buy some art and be content than an empty promise that makes me bankrupt.

Using ChatGPT to get answers instead of wading through spam links in Google reminds me of Google vs AltaVista over twenty years ago.

The real, dangerous disinformation, is coming from traditional media channels and places like Twitter, and it is in service of white nationalism, and its primary victims are Black people. But we don't want to talk about that. We just want to yell "Ban TikTok!"

When playtesting your game the most import thing to do is shut the fuck up. Don't help them. Don't tell them how to solve their problem. Just watch. Study the things they tried. Do this for a long time. Live their pain and confusion. Then go back and address what they struggled with. I see too many devs that jump in and help, then never fix the problem. Live their confusion.

Whenever I encounter a breakdown in an organization or professional interaction, I remember the attribution pyramid.

It’s most likely people’s incentives aren’t aligned then they simply don’t understand the problem and least likely that they’re jerks.
