It is always encouraging when someone has the guts to say this. Thought and prayers don't bring dead kids back, and they don't prevent future killings. Even if there is an almighty deity, she/he/it is obviously not listening to your useless prayers, or these killings would not be happening almost every single damn day.

What needs to happen is for the scoundrels that kowtow to the NRA to be voted out of office and never allowed to return! Votes for legislators NOT endorsed by the NRA will be far more effective than all the useless thoughts or prayers!
