Video game consoles never should have tried to rename the START button. “Options”, three horizontal lines, a plus sign - it’s confusing and inconsistent, when the button still has the exact same functionality (starting a game, or opening a pause menu) and players still think of it and often CALL it a “start button.” You actually have games that open with “press Options to begin.” Madness!! Just stick with what everyone already understands!!

I was looking over bank statements from 2021 and kept coming across monthly $500 deposits and it took me a moment to realize I'd completely memory-holed that the government briefly sent every parent money for their kids and we could still do that but instead literally nobody talks about it or even remembers.
