If you're not a gamer, "PvP" means "Player vs. Player" -- and it denotes shooting games where the goal is to destroy your opponent.

Think the online versions Halo or Call of Duty -- that's the jist.

PvP is Elon Musk's vision for Twitter -- that's what he wants it to become.

Think it was bad before? Twitter will become more combative, more divisive, more driven by rage.

PvP is the future of Twitter.

Once again: It's not the specific cops; it's the system into which they are trained & the mentality into which they are groomed. These cops did exactly what cop culture told them was right to do. If it hadn't been on camera—& if they hadn't been Black—we might not even have known.

But, again, and especially if you're a Black or Brown cop out on these streets, I want you to notice how quiet the police union and the fraternal order of police is about these dudes that murdered #TyreNichols.

You are a prop to them, and if you step out of line— whether to prove something to yourself, or your "Brothers" or the person whose life you're endangering— you're the one they'll make an example of.

There's ALOT more interest in progressive ideas in some areas than the media would admit BUT we also need to build broader coalitions in common interest areas first. That's where progressives fail at times. They attack those who COULD be their allies.

Oversight and accountability. Whether we are talking about policing or politics having a stable nation comes back to two pillars: oversight and accountability. Those pillars have been eroded and we're now unstable as a result.

@VICENews Police Chief Davis says they are looking at previous arrests, previous body cam footage. Damn right they need to review cases and footage, especially those involving the officer who wore the camera on Video 4 - he was extremely comfortable manipulating/covering/angling his camera. I would agree that most evangelicals are unwitting assets. Evangelical churches train people *not* to think for themselves. If a leader says "Trump was sent by God," 98% of the congregation will say, "Yes! in the name of Jesus!"

(I have an evangelical background, even went to Bible college for a yr before I figured out what I really wanted to do. I know whereof I speak.)
