If you understand white US history, you start asking questions about why there's such a huge disparity in life expectancy between Black people in the UK and Black people in the US.

You also start realizing that this racism hurts white people too. White US life expectancy is embarrassingly low as well.

This system is not working for any of us. But if we understand how it's broken (racism), we can know how to fix it (get rid of the racism).

BREAKING: Far-right extremists, some associated with the Proud Boys, are targeting Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District in Los Angeles AGAIN. They are against the district working with Planned Parenthood to make a reproductive healthcare clinic for students. These clinics do not provide abortion, despite false information spread by right-wing media and extremist groups. Last time the district tried to vote on this clinic, Proud Boys and others showed up and intimidated the school board and the project was indefinitely postponed. The far-right is flexing power over Los Angeles County school districts to violate the rights of children here. People should stand up and fight back against this hate. The hate rally is at 12820 Pioneer Blvd. Norwalk, CA.

When I tried to cover their last rally, Proud Boys followed me to my car and tried to jump me.

Two years ago we literally had a deadly riot at the US Capitol because a sore loser made up crazypants stories about the election being stolen with rigged voting machines, despite there being no absolutely evidence to support this.

And now you want people to vote over the freaking INTERNET? Something just about every reputable expert agrees we don’t know how to do securely or reliably?

Somewhat disappointed in the people who are so quick to say that we need to reform Section 230 because "big tech companies are bad," without considering whether or not it would even fix the problem. Too many of my mentions are people who seem to not care about the consequences (and whether or not such reforms would help fix any perceived problem). It's just "company bad, therefore, 230 must be bad."

Think through the details, people.
