Recently @zemarmot has been working on the last big piece of GTK+3 port: port #GIMP core action code to GAction/GtkMenu.

Nikc, latest core dev, does the same for plug-ins.

Many thousands of line of code changed (half the work done?). Not much to show in term of screenshot as the point is to have GIMP working the same after.

Though the last 2 weeks in particular, we have been focusing on fixing the last few bits for the next stable release, GIMP 2.10.34!

1. Elon who spams your feed because the President's tweets were more popular than his during a the Super Bowl

and

2. Mike who impulsively shuts down his instance because things didn't go to his liking on a directory, and an email went unanswered.

Both dudes are ridiculous.

However, I am glad that at least everyone who has to deal with Mike can migrate elsewhere.

If a popular instance (mastodon.au) has gone down because one email was left unanswered, that's a pretty dicey reason to leave so many people's accounts in the lurch.

These are my go-to apps for entering my nature shorthand when I'm working indoors, and for other short notes and code snippets. Unlike Apple's Notes app, they're quick and lack the heavy-handed auto-formatting and spellchecking that cause havoc with my shorthand.
