I see I've managed to drag my followers with me... I *really* hope my follows make it over, too – that was my understanding but I'm not seeing it yet.

For those interested, I ended up having to refollow all my follows. I didn’t have any filters or blocks, etc. but I don’t think that gets carried over, either.
I figured it was better to jump sooner than later, before I was following too many people…
@MichaelPorter I had a problem with my old instance not recognizing the alias I set up on the new instance because it a) had a cached copy, and b) was overloaded as heck. I wound up making an edit to my new profile that invalidated the cache, then I could make the link, and follower transfers started trickling in shortly thereafter.
@alan I just went ahead and added them (you!) manually… Didn’t want to take the chance that the list visible on the old account was going to evaporate 😊
(Looks like I'm going to have to add "qoto" to my spellcheck dictionary 🙄)
