If you know what a modem sounds like, it may be time to schedule that colonoscopy and/or mammogram.

@Kclemson +1 to the colonoscopy, I had one early in life (38) that revealed colon cancer. It was an utter miracle that the softball size mass was still fully contained in my colon, and after surgery and chemo I should live a long healthy life, but get your regular checks in, it'll save yours or someone else's life!

@Kclemson @corsairmo I hear you! I had the “50th birthday present” colonoscopy and it probably saved my life, or at least my colon. Big mass, not cancerous (yet). Apparently my large intestine likes to grow things, so I go back every year. All told, next month’s will be #11. After that many, *nothing* fazes you 😄

@MichaelPorter @corsairmo there was a period of my life when I had to get injections in my eye (early macular degeneration)… I would rather have a monthly colonoscopy from now on than have to get a needle in my eye one more time.

@Kclemson @MichaelPorter :100a: I can't imagine an injection in the eye! OUCH+anxiety! Honestly, Colonoscopies aren't that bad, my last one was a "twilight sedation" one where I stayed semi-alert the whole time, that was a much easier recovery process, which I appreciated.
