I love this git course for beginners.
I believe to get expert in any field, reading documentation is the best way. But for start a visual short course will surely help.

Documentation is often extremely technical and not well written, thus it lacks a wide vision of the objectives and main features.
Broad examples do provide that.
@Naadiyaar I agree. Usually reading documentation calmly is a good way, but sometimes you want a quick overview before you get started so you have somewhat an idea what it'll look like.
