Such a cute red panda.

It's absurd that this judge cites Sesame Street— but it's moronic that he presumes to know enough about medicine to assert that pregnancy is unlike rare cancers, severe bacterial infections, and heart disease.

In reality, pregnancy is a medical condition that can present as a teratoma (a rare cancer), uniquely elevate the risk of severe bacterial infection, and is virtually indistinguishable from advanced heart disease in the 3rd trimester.

‘Ignore This Ruling’: Pro-Choice Groups and Lawmakers Rally Against Abortion Pill Ban
Bernie Sanders called the decision overreach by a right-wing judge who “does not know more than the women who have safely used this medication for decades"

So Elon Musk thinks he can scare Twitter users by lying that substack newsletters, including my America, America, are unsafe and may be filled with violent content. Lie to Twitter users when they click on a link about a perceived competitor rather than fix his broken platform. Sad for writers. Sad for progressive communities. But it makes platforms like this more important.

It’s an all Southern Final 4, as chosen by you. Vote and share, for Democracy

WORST US STATE

If US courts can overturn the FDA's decision on mifepristone, they can overturn the FDA's approval of birth control pills, Ritalin, Prozac, estrogen, or anything else. This has the potential to be a terrifying precedent.

#Mastodon fundraiser for #JustinPearson and #JustinJones: #Mastodon4Justins

In less than a day, we've raised over $2000. I've set an initial goal of $3500.

Contributions in any amount, as well as boosts of the effort, are a way to fight for democracy, to be anti-racist, and to demand laws to control gun violence.

This male #cormorant was decked out in all of his most beautiful colors of the season. Busy guy was exhausted, sleeping on the rail of a boardwalk over the wetlands in Florida. So tired he could barely open his eyes as I walked by just a couple feel away. But, those eyes, gorgeous!

Congratulations to the Tennessee state legislature for fast-tracking the political careers of Justin Jones and Justin Pearson

This will in no way backfire on you, you old racist dumb shits

All of the entertainers from my childhood are passing away, but none of the politicians. I resent that.

I don’t know about y’all, but it’s starting to feel like voting and marching and finger shaking isn’t enough to stop what’s happening.
